NOUN OR VERB:

I used these word cards in my pocket chart. I read the words to the students and had them tell me whether it was a noun or verb.

noun or verb sort

I made these cards and color coded the nouns and verbs on card stock. I used the cards above and read the words to the students. I had them hold up the noun card or the verb card. The kids loved it and thought it was a fun "game." The students can also play this in partners at an independant center.

NOUN:VERB

As they got better at differentiating noun and verb, I made this for the students to do in an independant center.
